ナチズムのユダヤ人迫害を逃れ、アメリカに渡り、生涯をアメリカで過ごしたハンナ・アーレントの思考は、社会的なものと政治的なものとを分け、後者の復権こそがナチズムのような社会現象を防ぐとみる。したがって、リトルロックの公立校での黒人・白人共学実施をめぐっての暴動のなかで、アーレントは教育という社会的な場に権力がはいって共学を実施しようとすると非難し、分離教育を主張した。しかし、その論理には第三の要素「身体」が大きく作用していたことを追う。
Hannah Arendt was against the co-education of white race and black race in the official high school in Little Rock of Arkansas. Because she convinced, Politics and Society have the different function. But, this distinction did not function in the community.
